Today, the museum is the largest collection of material evidence of the history and culture of human activity in the field of fire fighting in our country. One of its priorities is to popularize the fire and rescue business and familiarize the general public with the traditions and heroism of firefighters. Thanks to painstaking search and research work, objects from various periods of the fire service's existence are presented in four separate halls, starting from the early Middle Ages, when all the townspeople gathered with improvised tools to extinguish fires, and right up to the fighting days of the brave firefighters of today.
